2000 Prince PR01 DSR
Car was originally owned by Tom Robertson, bought by Rodger Cook for the 2002 season and was Southeast Region DSR Champion 3 years running, winning 15 national races. I purchased the car from Rodger in September 2005, adding a Quaife LSD differential and a new Beasley carbon fiber seat. We took this car Hill Climbing in the 2006 Pennsylvania Hillclimbing Series and ran it just the way that Rodger and Dannny Perez had developed it. In eight events we set 6 new Hill Records (one was 20 years old and broke it by 4 seconds on a 2.3 mile course) and claimed the DSR Championship with 6 wins and 2 second place finishes. We won the DSR Class in 2007, CSR in 2008, and DSR again in 2009. We presently own 11 class records. I have ocassionally run Solo 2 events taking FTD. This car is better than they said it would be...just unbelievable.
This has a 2/3 aluminum monoque built by Pat Prince and developed by Dan Perez. The car has never been damaged. It is very fast and easy to drive. The aero package includes front diffuser with a floating splitter platform and a rear diffuser with a 4" inverted wing, and a Cart dual element adjustable rear wing. The engine is a Yamaha R1 with Graves tuned carbs. Car weighs approx 900 lbs.
